The charming location of Waterside Court has been celebrated throughout the design scheme. Upon entering the extra care scheme we pay homage to the Grand Union Canal that runs alongside the home, taking inspiration from the eclectic playful character of the canal boat interiors.

We have galleried bells in the dining area to remind us of the area’s industrial history, with the town housing the largest bell foundry in the world.

We are further reminded of the surrounding industry through the product which came to be known as the Bobbinet. We used wallpaper in the communal lounge that nods to the twisted lace the bobbinet created.

Featuring a hair salon, library, cinema and quiet seating areas, our vision was to create a warm and comforting space for Waterside Court, taking design cues from fashion classic hounds tooth fabrics and sage green tartan wallpapers, contrasting wonderfully with deep purple wool texture upholsteries. We also designed and installed bespoke shelving units to add an extra touch of style and interest to the areas.

The cinema is a place where residents can relax and unwind. Textured walls are decorated with photographs of iconic movie stars, framed in a dark wood finish.
The individual design style of Waterside Court captures the essence of its setting, reflecting the serene scenes of the canal and creating an inviting environment for residents to enjoy.
